Summary
While much data has been gathered specific to our immediate purpose, additional data will be gathered and forwarded to the WIB in the following areas.
- Number of TANF Recipients and Average Duration of Assistance
- Part-Time and Underemployment Data
- Comparison of Job Bank and Talent Bank
- Employee Benefits by Occupational Grouping
Our next step, is to proceed with Phase II of our assessment, which is to disseminate our Local Skills Shortage Survey (attached) by e-mail, regular mail, through area chambers of commerce, personal visits, and hopefully, on the WIB website. Local businesses will be informed that this process of gathering information will be an on-going process to determine what businesses see as important information/data that should be recorded and available for our local area.
In addition, a compendium of raw data extracted from the gathered materials will be distributed to the WIB by the end of August to assist with the upcoming retreat/training with Greg Newton.
